# Adjusted IP Fees in Mozambique

The Government of Mozambique has enacted Ministerial Decree No. 154/2023, which introduces a revised fee schedule for intellectual property matters. Effective from ***26 February 2024*** certain official fees related to IP matters will be adjusted.

Some Key Points:

- The official fees for **trade mark assignments** have increased from US$20 to US$196 per class;

- The official fees for the recordal of a **change of address** against a trade mark have increased from US$15 to US$75 per class;

- The official fees for **patent applications** have increased from US$97 to $190

- **New Fees** have been introduced for certain actions, such as for the submission of evidence of use to be filed with a late Declaration of Intention to Use.
