# Trade Mark Administrator

Spoor & Fisher is looking for a Trade Mark Administrator within the TM Formalities: Changes department. The successful candidate will be based in the Centurion office, reporting to the Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for Trade Mark recordals worldwide. Working within the TM Formalities team, you will manage recordal matters from opening through to completion, liaising with clients, foreign agents and registries to ensure accurate and timely filings.

## Trade Mark Administrator: Minimum Requirements

Core Competencies:

- Internal applicant must be proficient in Inprotech and DMS.

- Proficiency in MS Outlook, MS Word and Excel.

- Excellent command of the English language.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Accuracy and a good eye for detail.

- Must be able to work well autonomously and within a team.

- Must be proactive and deadline oriented.

- Able to work under pressure.

- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities

## Duties and Responsibilities

**Primary Duties**

- Opening and diarising of files.

- Diary management.

- Corresponding with agents, clients and CIPC.

- Reviewing documentation for accuracy and suitability for recordals.

- Attending to the filing of recordal applications.

- Attending to the takeover of new trade mark portfolios.

- Preparation of documents, such as assignment agreements, licence agreements and powers of attorney.

- Updating the internal systems and capturing data.

- Following up on outstanding matters.

- Processing official documents received from the various Registries.

- Invoicing.
