# Digital Transformation Specialist

The Digital Transformation specialist will provide strategic and operational support across the business by analysing business processes, user interactions and client feedback to inform our digital transformation projects and programs. The role bridges business analysis and project management, enabling the firm to streamline workflows, enhance client service, and support innovation in IP operations.

## Digital Transformation Specialist – Minimum Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Economics, Business Analytics or related fields.

- A Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) will be preferred.

- 3–5 years’ experience in business process analysis position

- Prior experience in a law firm or professional services environment, ideally within IP, is highly desirable.

- Basic understanding of business analysis and UX/UI design principles.

- Familiarity with digital platforms and tools for user experience design.

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Proactive and self-driven.

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across diverse teams.

- Detail-oriented while maintaining strategic focus

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced digital transformation landscape.

## Key Responsibilities:

### Business Analysis

- Comprehensive Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes and client feedback to develop effective digital transformation strategies and solutions.

- User Experience Design: Design and refine user interfaces on digital platforms to be intuitive and user-friendly.

- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with development teams and other stakeholders to translate insights into practical digital solutions.

- Customer Feedback Loop: Establish mechanisms to collect and analyse user feedback, driving improvements in the digital experience.

- Business Process Alignment: Ensure digital initiatives align with business processes and identify opportunities for optimization.

- Translate business needs into actionable solutions such as process changes, technology adoption and reporting tools.

- Prototyping and Usability Testing: Create prototypes and conduct usability testing to gather user feedback and make necessary adjustments.

- Performance Monitoring and Improvement: Monitor digital platform performance and user interactions, identifying trends and areas for improvement.

- Process Improvement: Focus on continuous process improvement, initially conducting AS-IS analysis and including Time Study analysis.

### Project Management

- Plan, coordinate, and oversee projects across IP operations (e.g. system upgrades, workflow automation and compliance initiatives).

- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.

- Manage stakeholder communication and expectations.

- Track progress, manage risks, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

- Facilitate cross-department collaboration between Patents and Trademarks.

- Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations as required

- Support change management and training initiatives.
