# Sudan: Suspension of IP Registry Operations

In Sudan, the Registrar General of Intellectual Property has announced a temporary suspension of all administrative operations to allow for relocation to interim offices within the Ministry of Minerals building in Khartoum, the capital city of Sudan.

During this suspension:

1. No filing receipts are being issued

2. No new applications, renewals, or recordals can be filed

3. Official deadlines falling within this period will be addressed once operations resume

Operations will resume in due course, at which point the Registry will continue operating under the same temporary procedures previously in place.
